As part of a training trip, we were able to welcome a group of TÜV Rheinland test engineers and technicians to our companies in mid-October this year.
The focus was on getting to know the perspectives of test procedures for the preparation of type test certificates for safety components in accordance with EN81-20/50. The focus was on the preparatory measures prior to certification and the individual processes of such test procedures. The employees of TÜV Rheinland were supervised by our responsible test engineer Mr. Steffen Kemp.
The 1.5-day event included, of course, a comprehensive look “behind the scenes” — so that all participants could also gain an impression of the development and production of such components. The topics of “continuous assurance of consistent quality” and regular sample checks were also included in the discussion. In this regard, appropriate tests of safety components were then carried out on our free fall test bench and then evaluated and discussed.
P+S Polyurethane Elastomere GmbH & Co. KG also offers such events as a service to interested groups and testing institutes. For further details, simply contact us.
